Have you ever gone airplane watching?  I live out here in Arizona, in the grand city of Phoenix, the capital of this fine state.  There are at least 7 airports here in the Valley of the Sun, and that mean this is  a prime location for viewing planes.  One of the nice things about Arizona is there are probably over 340 clear flying weathers a year, so that means you will pretty much always be able to see the aircraft taking off and landing.  I only wonder with the heightened security measures will I ever find myself face down on the ground outside one of the local airports because I decided to go look at the airplanes take off and land.

One of the fun things that I like to do as a first, well.. maybe second date is to take a gal airplane watching.  It’s actually kind of romantic.  At the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport there are two prime airplane viewing locations, and the one to go is decided by which way the wind is blowing, literally.  In the evenings the wind is usually blowing from the west so that means that aircraft are in most cases taking off and landing on runways 25L or 25R, usually 25L because most of the airlines fly in over A Mountain in Tempe.  It is really cool to sit in one of the local watering holes in temper at night and watch the planes land or even go out to the Rio Salado park which has a nice grassy area, spread a blanked, bring along some wine and cheese and watch the planes fly over. If you have an aviation radio it is even better because you can hear all of the flight traffic between the tower and the landing airplanes.

If the wind is blowing the other way and airplanes are landing on runways 7R or 7L the view is still spectacular but there is no grassy park to spread out a blanket.  The area of town where that end of the runway is is pretty urban and industrialized.  It is still a great place to watch planes from  as the jets literally pass over your head at the threshold of the runway and you can get right up to the fence.  You get to hear the roar and the thunder of the jet engines as they pass over to land.

Watching planes is always one of my favorite past times.  But then again, so is watching girls.  There is nothing like a beautiful woman or a sexy aircraft.  That is a combination that I would never get tired of viewing.

An Introduction: Planes, Girls, and Clear Skies

There are two things in life that really get my attention, airplanes, and sexy women.  I'm 47 years old, I'm single, and I have finally come to the point in my life where I can mix the two and not really care about what others think.  I'm sure there are some other aviation nuts out there that probably have the same interests as well.  So I thought I would blog about my interest.  Now, to make things a bit more exciting, I have to let you know about another interest of mine, and that is photography.  So, here I am going to combine, aviation, sexy ladies, and photography all in one place.  Is anyone interested?  Well, we will just see.

I have another interst and I don't know if I will talk about it too much here.  And that is Radio Controlled airplanes.  I'm not quite sure how to mix RC airplane, Sexy women, and photography, but if I can I will.  I have been building RC airplanes for over 30 years.  I started back in high school and I have continued ever since.  When I am not flying real airplanes, I am a Commercial Pilot, I fly RC airplanes.  Actually I fly RC airplanes for relaxation.

So, how did I get started down this road?  Honestly, because I was bored.  I have always taken pictures of airplanes.  I go to airshows by the ton.  I've never taken pictures of sexy ladies, but I have a friend who is a photographer and that is all he does.  I was thinking about joining some of the meet up groups in the area to hone my skills in the photography arena.  But then, that will be something else I can talk about here.

I hope  there is an interest in sexy gals and airplanes.  This should be a fun adventure.  I think the internet is so cool atht you can just put yourself out there.  And if a few people can give you the thumbs up because of what you do the "mo betta" for you.

I welcome any suggestions, comments (negative or positive).  I kinda see this as my time off to just express to the world some of my own brand of creativity.  I know everyone won't like it.  And I respectfully submit, that if you don't like what you see, then I'm ok with it.  I will stay within the bounds of the blogger rules.  I think creating this blog where I can mix my love, and admiration of the fairer sex, and my love of the most wonderful thing you can do with your clothes on, fly, will be interesting.  I welcome hearing from you.
